The Kids Place

The Kid's Place is an in home pre-school located in Albemarle County. We opened in December of 2008. The reason I began this pre-school was to enhance my son's learning experience so that he would be more than prepared for kindergarten. A friend of mine suggested that I keep other people's children and teach them as well. That is when The Kid's Place was created!

I am a married Mom of two beautiful children. We have a large home on 5 acres of land out in Albemarle County near Profit Road and 20 North.

I have one spot available and would love to have your child fill it!

I currently keep three other children ages 3 to 5 and my son is 4. We have a well rounded group and they work and play really well together.

Hours: Monday- Friday from 7:30 AM until 5:30 PM
Half days are available too.

Meals 9:30 AM Snack (Provided)
12:30 PM Lunch (You must provide your child's lunch daily)
3:00 PM Snack (Provided) Nap-time 1:00 to 3:00 PM

Ages we accept 3, 4, 5 YEAR OLD I only have one spot available but I can put you on a waiting list when another spot becomes available. Your child MUST be potty trained prior to coming into my home.

Curriculum A combination of Albemarle County's Pre-k and my own. The children are learning numbers, letters, shapes, colors,how to write their names, the days of the week, respect for each other and themselves as well as constructive play through learning.
